The 148-year-old tradition of Lord Jagannathji’s Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad continues to shine as a symbol of the city's spiritual heritage. On Ashadhi Beej (Friday, 27th June 2025), Vishv Umiya Dham, Jaspur – Ahmedabad, organized a grand Rath Yatra, with the participation of over 11,000 devotees.
The event witnessed enthusiastic involvement from trustees, officials, volunteers, and local communities. A traditional 'Mameru' worth ₹11 lakhs was presented by residents of Vaishnodevi in devotion to Lord Jagannathji, Subhadraji, and Balramji.
Devotees were blessed with 400+ kg of moong prasadam and 150 kg of jabun prasadam during the procession. In the evening, thousands joined the Maha Aarti as the Lord returned to the sanctum.
The event also marked the launch of the ‘Ma Lakshmi’s Kalash in Every Home’ campaign and the unveiling of the ‘Vishv Umiya Tilak’, symbolizing Maa Umiya’s divine blessings.
Vishv Umiya Dham extends heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, devotees from Vaishnodevi, Adani, and surrounding areas for making this divine celebration a grand success.
