Climate Action & Nature Care

Goal:

To plant 5 million trees by 2030, contributing to environmental sustainability and climate resilience. Create a sustainable green corridor and addressing climate and community needs. We're going to plant and care for these trees such that it helps to reduce the the carbon footprint on our mother earth.

  • Encourage people to donate generously for tree plantation & its cultivation.
  • Plant 5 million trees and nurture till it become big
  • Water Conservation in rural areas
  • Agriculture water recharging and construction check dams
  • Solar Grids installation for clean energy

Through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and innovative solutions, we aim to drive positive change, foster environmental stewardship, and contribute to the global effort in various areas such as,

  • Reduce our carbon footprint: Plant 1 million trees
  • Forest restoration: Adopt 10 large areas for forest reproduction
  • Reduce, reuse, recycle: Promote these practices to better manage waste
  • Conserve resources: Conserve energy and water
  • Use renewable energy: Transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources
  • Partner with sustainable organizations: Work with organizations that are environmentally sustainable
  • Go paperless: Reduce paper use
SDG Vision
Tree Plantation
Tree Plantation

Large-scale tree plantation efforts by organizing, supporting, and executing projects that contribute to reforestation, biodiversity restoration, and climate change mitigation.

  • Mobilize Community Participation through Community Engagement and Volunteer Networks
  • Conduct Awareness Campaigns
  • Offer support for planting, maintaining, and caring for trees.
  • Public-Private Partnerships
  • Foster Long-Term Sustainability
Check Dam
Check Dam

Building small check dams, which are vital for water conservation, flood control, and sustainable agriculture, especially in water-scarce regions. Here are some key actions we can take:

  • Assess Water Resources and Site Selection
  • Support for the construction of check dams
  • Facilitate Community Involvement and Ownership
  • Coordinate with Local Governments and Stakeholders
  • Promote the integration of check dams with other water conservation practices
Solar Grid Installation
Solar Grid Installation

Play a transformative role in making villages self-sustainable in energy by supporting the installation of solar grids. Here are several key actions they can take:

  • Assess Energy Needs and Feasibility
  • Tailor solar systems to local needs, considering factors like population size, energy demand, available sunlight, and infrastructure.
  • Solar Panel Installation & Grid Integration
  • Local Skill Development & Community Involvement
  • Promote Solar-Powered Agriculture and Livelihoods
Forest Restoration
Forest Restoration

VUF can play a crucial role in forest restoration by implementing a variety of initiatives that contribute to the healing and preservation of degraded ecosystems. Here are several ways we can make an impact.

  • Tree Planting and Reforestation - Organize large-scale tree planting campaigns to restore deforested or degraded areas
  • Community Engagement and Education
  • Partnering with Governments and Corporations
  • Funding and Resource Mobilization
Agriculture Water & Soil Health
