Grand Celebration of Lord Jagannathji’s Rath Yatra – 2025

The 148-year-old tradition of Lord Jagannathji’s Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad has become a significant and unique identity of the city. This divine procession is a rare occasion where the Lord Himself steps out to meet His devotees, journeying through the city with grandeur and devotion.

This year as well, Vishv Umiya Dham, Jaspur – Ahmedabad, organized the grand Rath Yatra on the auspicious day of Ashadhi Beej, Friday, 27th June 2025. On this sacred occasion, members of the Vishv Umiya Dham family, trustees, officials, volunteers, and over 11,000 devoted followers enthusiastically participated in the procession.

In the evening, after the Lord returned to the sanctum, thousands of devotees joined in for the grand Maha Aarti. As an offering of devotion, residents of the Vaishnodevi area presented a traditional 'Mameru' worth ₹11 lakhs to Lord Jagannathji, Sister Subhadraji, and Brother Balramji.

During the Rath Yatra, devotees were blessed with over 400 kg of moong prasadam and around 150 kg of jabun prasadam.

On this auspicious occasion, the campaign ‘Ma Lakshmi’s Kalash in Every Home’ was also launched to promote Sanatan values, along with the inauguration of the ‘Vishv Umiya Tilak’, a sacred symbol representing the blessings of Maa Umiya.

The success of this grand Rath Yatra was made possible through the dedication and support of all volunteers, devotees from Vaishnodevi, Adani areas, and various other neighborhoods.
