As the entire nation celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, Bharat Ratna, and the architect of modern and united India, the Umreth Taluka branch of Vishv Umiya Foundation organized a Unity Day Foot March (Padayatra) to mark the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

The procession commenced from the Umreth Police Station, flagged off by the Umreth Police Inspector, and proceeded through various areas of the town to the beats of music and DJ. Participants carried banners, the national flag, and posters of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, spreading the message of unity and patriotism. The Yatra concluded near the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Umreth Dharmashala – Vata area.

Adding grandeur to the event, Umreth Municipality President Shri Kanaiyalal Shah, Vishv Umiya Foundation Central Member Shri Bhagwanji Patel, MGVCL Junior Engineer Shri Nayan Bhatt, Kutch Kadva Patidar Samaj President Shri Gangaram Vasani, and Umreth Timber Merchants Association President Shri Mohanbhai Patel, along with a large number of citizens, participated enthusiastically.

The successful organization of the Yatra was led by Vishv Umiya Foundation Umreth Taluka Samajik Sangathan under the leadership of Chairman Shri Gangdasbhai Patel, Co-Chairman Shri Kamleshbhai Patel, Joint Secretary Shri Jayeshbhai Patel, Organization Secretary Shri Vinodbhai Patel, 108 Team Chairman Shri Deepakbhai Patel, General Secretary Shri Nimeshbhai Patel, and Youth Organization Chairman Shri Vinodbhai Patel with General Secretary Shri Kalpeshbhai Patel.
